I'm pretty sure I have used this in the past on this computer on windows 10 (1703 or 1803), but I have recently tried different bios, driver and windows 10 versions and I can't enable it again.

I used to only use headphones for a while but now I'm using both speakers or headphones and I switch from one to another at least twice a day and often more. I want to avoid eventually breaking connectors/ports/knobs. So having the 2 output devices (back & front) as I remember seems to be the perfect solution as I could just switch the windows playback device to use at any moment.

I don't think a splitter would work for me because I want to keep both headphones and speakers connected/on at the same time but only hear one of them. Buying a usb or pcie sound card would be my last option.

The X370 Taichi has a Realtek ALC1220 Audio Codec.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
