Still no fix for this on my end. Looks like I am the only one that has ever had this issue? AsRock support has been less than helpful with no reply also at this time.

Hi All,

First post here but hoping for a little advice on this one as I am a new user to AsRock boards. I just picked up the Z170 OC Formula as a replacement for an Asus Z170 board. Installed the board and am running into an issue with the start up. System will get to UEFI interface just fine. Boot sequence was set up for USB and then the HD with original Windows 10 Installation on it and those drives are recognized in the boot order.

When I put a newly made Windows Media Creation Tool on USB in the machine (hoping to repair original install) it gets to the AsRock Logo or splash screen and the circle will spin a half turn and then stop, failing to proceed.  When I try booting to the Win HD directly it displays the WIN logo and says "Preparing Automatic Repair" and then the progress circle hangs after half a turn again.

I am perfectly fine with having to do a fresh install of Win 10 but I am not even able to get to that point. I am hoping I am just missing something in the UEFI setup but not entirely sure at this point.

Hardware I currently have installed to the mother board is listed below.

AsRock OC Formula MXGR80
BIOS 7.30
i5-6600K CPU
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
32GB - Qty 2, CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz
XFX - Hard Swap Edition AMD Radeon RX 480 RS 8 GB GDDR5 PCI Express
Corsair CX Series 750 Watt 80 Plus Bronze Certified Modular Power Supply
Windows 10 HD - WD Blue 1TB SATA 6 Gb/s 7200 RPM 64MB
Razer BlackWidow Gaming Keyboard
Razer DeathAdder Gaming Mouse

Thanks in advance for any help!
