Running Linux, it's not possible to use virtualization on the Fatal1ty X470 Gaming K4. The CPU support is there: # lscpu | grep Virtualization Virtualization: AMD-V But trying to load the kermel module, one gets this error message: # modprobe kvm-amd modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'kvm_amd': Operation not supported Normally, this is because of virtualization turned off in the BIOS by some security setting. What is the BIOS option to turn virtualization on?

Moreover, when I modprobe kvm-amd, such a line is appended to the kernel ring buffer: [54406.792989] kvm: disabled by bios

In uefi/bios, should be under advanced -> cpu configuration -> SVM. Set from disabled to enable. Also check out the OC Tweaker and enable SMT.   SVM = Secure Virtual Machine SMT = Simultaneous Multithreading   Also which Linux kernel version are you running? I know there's a bug within asrock bios containing agesa pinnacle_pi 1.0.0.4. Upgrading your Linux kernel to 4.18.10+ should resolve any virtualization issues your having if you have AMD SVM enabled.
