Amd Threadripper 3960x
Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID ML360 RGB TR4 EDITION WITH RGB CONTROLLER
Asrock Trx40 Creator
32GB G-Skill 3800Mhz Cl 14-16-16-36
Super flower leadex platium 2000w
2x Zotac 980ti !i know old"
1x samsung 950 pro 512Gb nvme ssd
1x 2Tb 850 evo 2Tb
1x 2Tb 980 Pro
7x seagate 4tb
Mad cats Keybord
Reddragon mouse 24000dpi

I have a problem with one of the nvme socket on my asrock trx40 creator motherboard.

it has 3 x m2 nvme sockets and i bought a 2Tb 980 Pro a couple of days ago and when i was un screwing the 2x screws that held the cooling plate for the m2-2 socket the one in the middle the entire spacer came off and now i cant place the 980 pro 2Tb nvme in that slot and tighten the armor plate since one of the spacers is there now.

anyone know what to do ? can i just put a plastic spacer in with larger thread or do i need one with a back screw for the back of the motherboard?

With pliers hold the spacer and unscrew the screw from the spacer (if I understood you correctly)
