Can anyone advise if I can use a Samsung 970 PRO 1 TB NVMe M.2 Internal SSD on the ASrock Phantom Gaming 9 motherboard and if that device can be made bootable?

Thanks.

Thanks. I am starting a new build using this motherboard and have been recommended that I use the 970 Pro due to the faster speed provided. Am I correct in that to obtain the faster speed that I need to use the M2-2 socket? I only intend to use the 970 and a Samsung 860 EVO 2 TB SATA 2.5" Internal SSD as the other drive. I plan to use the 970 to boot and keep main programmes on with 860 for storage. I am using the machine mainly for photography. Would this make a good combination?
