I recently have build a computer by myself ,after building the pc i wasnt having any problems then recently an windows update came and i installed it .after updating my windows im experiencing very laggy uefi bios very high input lag (mouse,keyboard) in bios .I want help is there any way to fix this issue.
my specs:
AMD THREADRIPPER 1900X
ASROCK X399 FATALITY (PROFESSIONAL GAMING)
CORSAIR VENGEANCE 3000MHZ 16GB RAM
ASUS STRIX GTX 1080.

You're saying a Windows Update update is the cause of a laggy BIOS while your navigating the BIOS?



What you describe is more associated with high temps. Check your temps.

Or check all your fans are spooling up to their proper/req'd RPM.

MY CPU TEMPS ARE GOOD IM GETTING 32-35C ON IDLE AND 68-75C ON FULL LOAD.
THERES NO TEMP ISSUE.

Have you tried clearing CMOS, possibly even removing the CMOS battery for a full CMOS clear. If windows had anything to do with it, it may have corrupted entries in the UEFI.

I tried clearing CMOS but still no change. I tried installing the older BIOS but still lag in BIOS while navigating. I don't know what to. One thing left to do is that I gonna buy a new SSD and do fresh clean install of windows then see what happens.
