X570 taichi AM4 w/3950 and the latest bios installed this morning.

I Discovered an interesting limitation that I can replicate on different PCIe SATA Expansion cards so I think this is a BIOS/Hardware limitation but want to be sure before I give up and put the card back into my ASUS/Intel Board...

The SATA-16x card I've been using for a couple of years is pretty mainstream: LSI 9300-16i 12Gbps HBA (PCIe 16x)

I tried a Generic 16port 8x PCei card got from amazon with the same results, it only registered 8 of the 15 disks plugged into it.

With the LSI card, I can see from BIOS Advanced menu only 8 drives are present so I know for a fact its the BIOS or the MOTHERBOARD limiting this.

What I've tried to address the issue

1. Firmware Updated to P5.60 (no change)
2. The latest Bios/Drivers for the LSI card are installed.
3. Tried setting PCIe from x16 to 8x8, 4x4, etc.
4. Tried forcing PCIe slots from Gen4 to Gen3
5. Tried 4G Decoding (Above 4G Decoding)
6. Removed all M.2 NVME's from equation (no change)
7. Dropped in an old 8X PCIE VGA video card just in case it was a lanes issue.
8. Tried with CSM disabled or enabled (no change)
9. pulled the 1st 8 disks out, the control then recognizes the last 8
10. Disabled/Powered Down the 8xSATA ports on X570 (no change)

Since this LSI card has worked flawlessly until the MB swap, I'll toss it to Asrock group and see if I missed something...

I guess I can use the 8xSATA onboard and then use the LSI for the other 8XSATA.

Not looking forward to swapping my ASUS/Intel board back in(slower). Seriously, is this 8xINTERNAL + 8xEXTERNAL SATA Limit on all X570 Motherboards or just mine?

Okay so to further show its some PCIe SATA limitation I installed BOTH PCEI Controlers!

IN PCI SLOT5: LSI 9300-16i 16port (5x SATA 12TB DISKS!)
IN PCI SLOT4: Amazon Cheap 16port (5x SATA 12TB DISKS!)

FIGHT(I mean Boot!)!

ONLY 8 DISKS SEEN!
