In theory it should work.
Bear in mind that the second PCIe slot is PCIe2.0x16 (https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/AB350M%20Pro4/index.asp#Specification) Since mining doesn't require SLI I think you should be fine. |

Good spot there mate about the PCIe 2.0 slot. I've since read that PCIe 2.0 should be no bother for mining.

Yes, mining is not that heavy on PCIe bandwidth.
As you said, as long as Win/Lin picks the cards, you should be fine. |

Yeah, mining with just 2 cards seems a bit... odd.
Both PCIe slots should run at their max respective speeds. Keep one thing in mind - this mobo is advertised as CrossFire ready. Nothing is mentioned about SLI. I'm not much of nvidia fan, so IDK if SLI requires similar PCIe slot speeds to work or not. |
