I've seen that other vendors that use the Z690 chipset have issues with bios updates and RAID-1 settings and that they get lost and RAID setup is no longer recognized. Does ASRock Z690 mainboards have similar issues with their bios updates or are we safe?
I'm going to setup RAID-1 on my new PC, but if this is going to be a problem I'd rather not risk it. |

Hi dancing-cloud,
Thank you for your post. BIOS update will reset all BIOS settings. So we highly recommend backing up your DATA before you update BIOS. After updating BIOS, re-enable the RAID option. RAID array should be back only. All the best ASRock TSD |
