Hello, I have a problem with new motherboard asrock a68m-itx + new amd apu a6 7400k. When I start my computer fans works fine. It's heard 3 short beeps break and another 3 short beeps. I tried to replace ram with few configurations. CMOS reset = nothing. I even tried to change power suply (be quiet system power 400) but also there was no change.

I saw similar problem in this tread but there is no solution or even clue:

So I please for help with this puzzle :)

3 beeps usually means incompatible memory on a new build.

If you have any other DDR3 there I'd try that.

Otherwise check the Memory tool that most manufacturers have available on their website that what you have is compatible.

I used ddr3 geil 1333 2x2gb / 1x2gb and ddr3 goodram 2x4gb / 1x4gb. No changes. I also tried to start system without ram and I got 3 beeps (but different sound) nor 3beeps/short pause/3beeps.

The computer will cough if NO memory is installed.

Please, check for compatibility.

We must have the full, exact model name of the memory to check for compatibility.

You must have memory in the board or it cannot work at all. No POST or BIOS.

Are you mixing the different memory together in the board?

Ok I tried with 6 different memory and there is no change. It's not the ram problem.

Do you know how to do a minimal build bench test, out of the case?

Also check/test the video card if you're using one?

We, I, needed to know. As if having our hands tied behind our backs AND wearing a blindfold because I'm not standing directly over your computer as you are,. these are things that are needed to have known as they aid us in diagnosing YOUR problems/issues. Not that that's easy most times yet we Moderators here with our vast combined experience do get it right most times when we know what the system is comprised of.

Please consider posting you full system specs on the opening post when asking for assistance. Her, or elsewhere.
