Hello!

In this case, I'd contact the ASRock Support Center.
They might send you a special BIOS file that solves the issue.
(For that, you should go on the web page of your motherboard).

NOTE:
You'll have to give them the serial number of your motherboard.

There are some problems on the AM5 platform, besides the issue that was mentioned here.

There is also a bug in the Zen 5 microarchitecture that prevents program activations through iLok License Manager too.

About the second issue, AMD stated that they are working on a new firmware: AGESA 1.2.0.2A, which should come out in early november 2024.

Maybe that firmware update will solve both issues.

Hello!

I have upgraded my PC with a Gigabyte RTX 3080 OC Vision 10G video card (PCIe 4.0 x16).
I've updated the firmware of the GPU to the latest BIOS version (F31), in order to have Resizable BAR support.

In the BIOS of my X670E Taichi motherboard, I have set the PCIe x16 Link speed at: Gen4.

However, my system runs without issues.
(I have benchmarked it extensively).

Maybe, those who have stability issues after setting the PCIe x16 Link speed at Gen4, didn't update the firmware of their GPU, or the BIOS of their motherboard?

So any update on this? Facing this same thing.
RMA'd the GPU, then sent it back today saying its fine. I haven't yet tried to force gen 3 on it. I read somewhere that we require a firmware update on the GPU (4080S in my case). I have an old 1070 runs fine on Auto in BIOs.

Hello!

If there's a firmware update for your video card, I'd suggest installing it.
Then set the correct PCIe lane speed for your x16 slot and for your M.2_1 slot.
