Hi wardog,
- yes and no, their serial numbers end with these numbers: T000052 - raises C0 when used in single channel in any slot (A1 to D2) T000053 - same as above T000062 - same as above T000063 - works in any slot, doesn't raise any BIOS errors Thanks! |

Not good. If you bought this as a 32GB Kit with 4 sticks, return it. While "close' , you nor I can guarantee this is 4 Matched sticks. Kit serials run consecutive. Fishy and dodgy. |

If the sticks, any of them, are in single channel mode returning an error they are bad sticks, at least to this board. RMA the lot of them........

Hi TANWare,
I didn't know that, I always thought that they work only when all 4 are plugged in. Thanks for the insight!

Hi wardog,
Yes, it's a single 32 GB kit with 4 sticks. That's a great tip, I will return it. Thanks!

Hi wardog,
Will do, I have just requested a replacement of the same RAM kit. I will update the topic in approximately two weeks. Thanks for the help. |

A quick update:
I ordered a new kit of the same memory and tested each module separately. I plugged in one module at a time and everything works flawlessly, there are no errors! This proves that in the old memory kit, 3 out of 4 sticks were faulty. The new kit serial numbers do not run in order - as it was with my previous kit, this is apparently not followed by HyperX, however, they do work. As to the old kit, I was just issued a full refund and postal fees. Many, many thanks to everyone on this forum! Your prompt advices helped me pinpoint the issue in memory modules. Thanks! |
