Hi,

I am trying to add a new Graphics card but when I do, the box starts okay, but it is black and does not even go to the Green ASRock page.  After a while it beeped once but then still black.

The card is new .. Gigabyte 2GB DDR3  Geforce GT610   Win 10 version

Why would this be.

Thanks

oz

First you should clear the BIOS/CMOS when  you change hardware, such as add a video card.

In the BIOS, in the Chipset Configuration screen the Primary Graphics Adapter option must be set to PCI Express.

Do you know what BIOS version you have now? A new Beta BIOS update includes Improved VGA Card Compatibility. You may need that BIOS version if you have an old BIOS version:
