I don't know what the problems are at AsRock, but bios 8.05 is perhaps even worse than 7.04.
It didn't fix the problems with the TVB which is still only browsable not editable. Updating the bios deletes all saved OC profiles and not only that, it doesn't even allow you to reload those saved on usb disk, as if they are not compatible. This is shameful. Hours of testing and overclocking completely lost, luckily I had screenshots. In the RAM timings, the tRCT value does not rise above 36. The operating logic of the cores is still not mixable ta per core and by core usage. In addition, everything already mentioned in this post https://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=25837&title=bios-v-7-04-z790-steel-legend remains valid. I would have already thrown this motherboard out the window were it not for the fact that I have no desire to disassemble the liquid loop. |
