I am trying to use the Samsung 980 500GB as my 2nd hard drive next to my SATA (where i have the windows installe).
It is not recognized in storage configuration nor is it recognized in BIOS. 1. It is in the Ultra M2 2_1 slot. 2. BIOS version is 6.60 (the latest version) I've tried so many things to fix it, even reinstalled the SDD, but still not working. Any help is much appreciated. |

It would be best to use the support form, this speeds up the diagnostic process
https://event.asrock.com/tsd.asp?ln=en When using a gmail account please check your spam folder for replies What happens when you use default BIOS settings, and only insert the Samsung m.2, and is it an NVME, or SATA device/ Also keep in mind that M2_2 and SATA3_3 share resources But with default BIOS settings and only the M.2, ity should be recognized in the BIOS. Important is that CSM in BIOS under boot should be set to disabled, so the OS is installed in GPT (UEFI) Mode Try a clean install, on the Samsung,m when it is detected, and use diskpart, to clean the partitions on the disk, before installing Windows. M2_1 only support NVME drives. |
