Hi,
I am trying to add a new Graphics card but when I do, the box starts okay, but it is black and does not even go to the Green ASRock page. After a while it beeped once but then still black. The card is new .. Gigabyte 2GB DDR3 Geforce GT610 Win 10 version Why would this be. Thanks oz My system is.. Board: ASRock 880GM-LE FX Bus Clock: 200 megahertz BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. First you should clear the BIOS/CMOS when you change hardware, such as add a video card. In the BIOS, in the Chipset Configuration screen the Primary Graphics Adapter option must be set to PCI Express. Do you know what BIOS version you have now? A new Beta BIOS update includes Improved VGA Card Compatibility. You may need that BIOS version if you have an old BIOS version: http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/880GM-LE%20FX/?cat=Beta |
