I have a Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming ITX/ac motherboard which is currently at Bios 3.4. I am having no issues after dialing back my Overclocking settings. Are there performance or security needs that justify the upgrade to Bios 4.70. I understand, if I do go through with the upgrade I first need to do a 3.40 to 3.60 upgrade and then do the 3.60 to 4.70 upgrade. My concern is that I will brick a fully functioning computer and I don't want to rebuild this PC as it took a while for me to get all of the programs that I use loaded and working just the way I want them.

Don't bother updating the BIOS. You are fine where you are at. Stay on 3.xx versions with 1st gen Ryzen CPU. 4.xx stuff is too buggy with 1st gen and doesn't operate well at all.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll leave well enough alone.
