Windows 10 now requires use of SMB2 protocol to access disks attached to G10, since SMB1 protocol is no longer safe due to unpatched errors which will not be fixed. G10 needs to add SMB2 protocol in order for the latest updates to be able to access USB disks on G10.

Win 10 can access SMB1 shares, but not by default. It is disabled due to security issues, but these are not so bad on a home network. It can be enabled as described in this URL:

Format the USB disk if you cannot access the USB drive on Windows 10. To do this, just go to This PC and right-click to select a disk, then click on Format. Don't worry, the Formatting Wizard will know how to do it. Simply select the appropriate file system and complete the scan in a quick way.

Windows 10 presently requires utilization of SMB2 convention to get to circles joined to G10, since SMB1 convention is not, at this point protected due to unpatched mistakes which won't be fixed. G10 needs to add SMB2 convention all together for the furthest down-the-line updates to have the option to get to USB plates on G10..
