Does USB Mouse Power On affect battery life?

   Hi all
Just a quick question - I've set up USB Mouse and Keyboard Power On in the ACPI Configuration menu. It works perfectly, but wondered whether it has any effect on battery life for these wireless devices? For example, does it stop the keyboard and mouse from sleeping and conserving battery power.
