Hello, this is my first computer that I've tried to assemble. I've put in the CPU (AMD A8-9600), RAM (Kingston DDR4 4GB 4/2666), plugged in the 24-pin and 8-pin cables to the PSU (Thermaltake 850W). My GPU is Manli 3060ti. I connected HDMI from the GPU to the tv screen. But there is no display. I've tried reseating the RAM (Kingston DDR4 4GB 4/2666), removing the MOBO battery, unplugging and plugging everything back together. I'm thinking either the MOBO is faulty, or is the CPU not compatible with the MOBO? Anyone please help me.

Thank you in advance.

Dear annr,
Thank you for the posting.

For this case, we would like to provide some suggestions for you to verify.

1. Clear CMOS by referring to user manual page. 27.
User manual: https://download.asrock.com/Manual/B450%20Pro4%20R2.0.pdf
2. Only install CPU, PSU, Cooler, RAM to check if the system can boot into BIOS setup.
3. Install one stick RAM on each slots by turns to repeat suggestion 2 to check if the problem relates to specific RAM stick or slot.
4. If possible, please use other CPUs, RAMs or monitors to cross test.

Thank you,

Best wishes,
ASRock TSD

I don't see your CPU on the official support list. If memory serves support for
Bristol Ridge based CPUs was dropped to make room on the BIOS ROM for all the
newer generations of Ryzen. So you either need a Ryzen based CPU or an older
300 series board with an early BIOS.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
