Dram timings issue with b450m steel legend

   Hi
I know this has been addressed before but I really can't make it work. 
This is my rig:
B450m steel legend
Ryzen 5 3600
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16Go (2x8Go) DDR4 3200MHz C16 
Based on Samsung B dye

I can OC the cpu quite easily.
But whatever I do, I cannot change the dram timings.
I changed the frequency and it works perfectly at 3600.
But other than that, changing timings does not work. 
It always goes on reboot loop. 
Latest version of the bios of course. 
Any help?
