Any ASRock board with at least the Realtek ALC1150 Audio Codec will support DTS. That is basically a given with any decent audio chip on a mother board. The Windows Sound option in Control Panel shows DTS as supported, even if the Realtek driver is not installed. |

It definitely doesn't show up for me. Other forum posts suggests that it's a licensing issue, and board manufacturers can selectively license. I've tried the ASRock official driver and the Realtek ones, but it doesn't show up.
The spec differences show the Taichi with DTS Connect, but the Gaming i7 has sound blaster cinema instead. I just wanted to check if it was really a licensing issue and not some hardware issue. |

IIRC MS/Dolby disabled all DTS out on Windows 10.
