I purchased this motherboard and have everything installed/working except the WiFi. I have reached out to support but have not had a response in 3 days. This is meant to be a gift so I'm at the point of RMA or find a solution.

OS: Windows 10 Professional
BIOS: 3.11 (latest)
Tried: Enabling/Disabling in OnBoard WiFi in the Bios
        Disabling the LAN w/WiFi enabled
Installed Drivers from downloaded version off the website (MediaTek Wireless Lan driver ver:5.3.0.1825)
Tried letting the "Auto Driver Installer ver:2.0.0.6" find and install the drivers.
Update Drivers via Windows Device Manager and pointing to the Downloaded drivers folder.

None of these work. It will say it has updated the driver successfully but the WiFi is not visible. Rebooting doesn't do anything. Bluetooth is working.
I have found posts on Tom's Hardware of others reporting the exact same issue, one even RMA'd the board only to have the exact same problem with the new one.

Is this because of Windows 10 not being supported (despite the drivers being listed under Windows 10)? Any support would be GREATLY appreciated, this is a gift and I'm running out of time.

I would try a bootable linux USB installation, a "live environment". It's really
easy and quick to make one and it's a really useful tool for hardware testing to
rule out driver/OS compatibility issues.

I would try with a well supported distro like Ubuntu and see if the wifi works
there. The fact that Bluetooth is working leads me to believe it's an OS issue.
Have you tried a win 11 install just to test?

Sometimes ASRock can take a while to reply, I typically get a reply
in 7 days or less, usually 1 - 2 days but sometimes up to 7 if a weekend is involved
or there are public holidays etc.

Good luck.

Good call. I have an Ubuntu Live Boot ISO on a USB I can use and take a look but will have to wait until Monday when my son is in school. I suspect too that it's related to OS but hoping it isn't because of some reliance on Win 10.

Ran into the same exact issue and stumbled upon this thread. Just wanted to let you know it is definitely OS related. After trying everything to get the driver to install on Windows 10 without success, I upgraded to Windows 11 and it installed correctly on the first try.

Yes, confirmed with both Ubuntu Live and Updating to Windows 11. It is isolated to Windows 10 regardless of the drivers being listed for windows 10. This makes things a little painful but I'll take it over running CAT cables through my attic.

The problem seems to be Wi-Fi 7 is not supported in Win 10 OS, at least for the module installed.
If you look in downloads for Win 10 OS wireless and Bluetooth drivers are not listed - only the Lan driver is listed. However, under Win 11 OS you will find the Bluetooth and wireless drivers.
I guess since Win 10 is all most expired, Microsoft or Media Tec didn't make it compatible?
