Hi can someone tell me why my motherboard ( ASrock 890FX Deluxe 3 with Phenom II X4 965be ) does not accept four RAM modules ( 4x 4GB Kingston HyperX - the same type, fequency, etc. , or 2x4GB with 2x2GB) . If I use Dual Chanell slots A1,B1 or A2,B2 it also do not accept them, no boot no video. I can only use 2x4 GB in slot A1, A2 or B1 B2 (alternately) or what I do wrong ? I read the max memory is 16Gb . Why can I not use 4x4Gb the type is 4x Kingston hyperx KHX1600C9D3X2K2/8GX or what to do to have more than 8gb Ram. In DrDebug led on MB it shows C6, d3 repeating. Thanks.

It sounds like the memory controller on the CPU may be damaged. The reason I say CPU is because all the RAM slots are working, just not in dual channel which is determined by the memory controller located on the CPU.

Maybe try pulling the CPU and checking for bent/missing pins.
