Hello everyone,
besides the RAM not going at full speed I have a different kinda major issue. And it is critical error ID 41 in windows 10. I have everything set at default / auto - for cpu/gpu/ram. How do i get such a error? - for eg. if I run Fire strike and the blue one falls at it's back on the bridge. What have i checked? Well basically I replaced every pc part, except the ram. RMAed it all and bought anew. MOBO BIOS 2.22. Tryed to use different cables psu-vga; vga in different pcie, vga fans set at max speed. Used clean installation of W10. Power profile tested with AMD's balanced and with high performance. RAM I benchmarked it with each stick in all possitions, then together, swaped it in all combinations. Back then on previous pc rig (3weeks ago) I tested RAM in memtest - 6 passes took about 24hours - with no errors. Components are on a table, not in pc case. Currently testing memtest again - will let it go for 8 full passes. PC components: R7 1700 was -> now R5 1600 Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming K4 ASUS Radeon RX 480 dual-rx480-O8G Corsair vengeance lpx 2x8GB 3200MHz (DS) CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 SSD: Adata SP920 (from older ntb; new instalation of W10) HDD: travelstart 7k1000 Anybody had same issue? |

FYI, as it's running, but....... Error 41's are usually caused by outdated drivers.

Was the first video card bad, did you use it in another PC before putting it in your Ryzen PC?
Windows 10 likes to update drivers, and will do it automatically. If you have your network connected to the PC just after you install Windows 10, Windows will install drivers before we can, and not just the Windows 10 built in drivers. Also, are new drivers always perfect? Plus which driver was the problem, for the video card or something else? |
