Hello Dear Asrock Team,
I've recently purchased the 990fx extreme3 + fx8320+case Segotep Fighter C I'm looking to change the stock cpu cooler since its a mess, i suppose everyone will agree on that:) There are some things you should know : 1. i want to keep the dual kit Kingston HyperX RAM (decent low Height dimms) in A1,B1 slots since only these are recognized by system as dual channel(tried A2,B2 and shows single channel) 2. looking for future OC to 4k+ 3. would like a 120mm fan and as silent as possible 4. not very expensive under 40$ Thank you for your advise. |

The best option for me was a cooler master hyper 212 evo .
It will not reach the dimm slots and decent cooling power -15-20C for CPU. |

depending on what you are really looking for i would suggest something from coolermaster
also depending on your case size I would suggest the new Coolermaster master Air Maker 8 a little expensive but should cool the cpu very well sorry I did not notice the budget the master Air maker 8 runs about 130. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&IsNodeId=1&N=100008000%204025%20600035298%20600035313%20600035373 Edited by Bobbie216 - 18 Mar 2016 at 1:28am |
