Hi,

Yesterday I bought a new motherboard - Fatal1ty X370 - so far nothing interesting, testing stuff, etc.

If you have any advice for this board , I am happy to hear any.

My first biggest and most disappointing thing is that I cant download Bios, Drivers from asRock homepage, all the time and with all browsers I get errors ''Failed - Network Error'' etc or just freeze in half of download...
Very disappointing.

While I was writing this down I discovered one bug. I accidentally put my computer in sleep mode, and when I tried to wake it up , it automatically shut down, basically was in coma. i hard reset, nothing helped, then the solution was to turn of power cord and plug back.

My specs:
1700x
Fatal1ty X370 (1.55)
32GB cursair LPX 3000mhz

You must have the Fatal1ty X370 Professional Gaming, if that 1.55 indicates a BIOS release?

Also what makes me believe you have the Fatal1ty X370 Professional Gaming is you state you're having network issues. Which leads me to believe further that you're using the Aquantia 5Gbps network port.

If I were you, unless that is you have and 5Gbps capable networking wiring and equipment, I'd be using the Intel 1Gbps port. You'll see stuttering and such using the 5G port w/o having the necessary 5G switches and routers. Or until the equipment you do have is issued 5G aware firmware.

What? No PSU? Solar powered then?

Also, what is the 32GB LPX's Kit part number?

Yes, sorry, I not imagine that there are other versions - i have Fatal1ty X370 Professional Gaming.

Yes, long story short - it realy feels much better. in beginning i noticed some strange things with intel - that why i switched to 5G - but yes - thanks for clearing this out! Now all is loading faster Clap

1700x
Fatal1ty X370 (1.55)
32GB cursair LPX 3000mhz (CMK32GX4M2B3000C15R)
Cooler Master GM Series G750M
ASUS GeForce GTX 980 ROG POSEIDON

Any way, thanks for your time, that LAN thing... omg... :)

EDIT:
in order to avoid misunderstandings :)

Right now im not running ram on 3000mhz - im running on 2132.

I need to finish some renderings, and only than i will test some other configuration and maby RAM.

We need to know what version of Windows you are using.

We also need to know the full model number of your Kingston memory to check compatibility.

The Corsair memory you listed in an earlier post is 3000 speed, correct? The Ryzen memory controller does not support 3000 or 3200 speed memory. DDR4 3000 memory will run at 2933 on a Ryzen system, and may need to be manually set to that speed.

No BIOS update can make 3000 speed memory work at 3000.

Im using licensed Windows 10 Pro

Yes, I am aware of it. No problem 3000 or 2933 (not a big difference for me) i will be happy if it will run on 2933 on normal timings.

please update to latest Aquantia LAN driver 1.40.42.0 from:

choose part Number: AQN-108 and Platform: Windows

And afterwards the install procedure...
Nice for the Support to catch up to the latest driver versions too...
Anyway - it basically confirms what I am testing / feeling since 18 Hours+ on Aquantia now = with 1.40.42.0 drivers it actually works...
And it works kinda better than intel I211 (might be a placebo though).

You should try to set fixed 1Gb port speed instead auto in Aquantia nic settings.
My guess that Aquantia try to auto negotiate 5Gb speed, but fail.
