Hi there,

Recently I got a Samsung SSD 850 EVO, before this I was running happy my rig with regular HDDs, but after adding this SSD I surely wanted to move my SO (Windows 10 x64) to the new faster drive and of course activate fast boot option.
So I did all the needed requirements, Installed a new Windows to the SSD on GPT partitions, transformed all old HDs to GPT as well, activated the fast start option at Windows control panel, updated my Z77 BIOS and activated fast boot and finally checked twice if my AMD 280X was running UEFI vBIOS.
All set and go! But no deal Ouch .
So I have no clue what else can I do to make fast boot work.
Here's my complete rig:

Asrock Z77 Extreme 3 -bios 1.50
Sapphire 280X Toxic - latest vBIOS with UEFI
Patriot Vipper3 2133 mhz 2@4 GB
Samsung Evo 850 500 GB - inserted on 1st sata 3 port (adjusted do SSD o BIOS) S.O. on it.
OCZ vertez 3 60 GB - inserted on 2nd sata 3 port (adjusted do SSD o BIOS)
Western Digital HDD 500 GB on 3rd  sata port
Seagate HDD 500 GB on 4th sata port
LG DVD drive on 5th sata port.
XFX 750 pro core UPS
I also have a VIA PCI-E 1x USB 3.0 adapter on the PCI-e 1x slot
Windows 10 Pro  x64.

well that's it. I looked everywhere and could not find a solution or a  satisfactory explanation why it doesn't work.

If anyone can light up I appreciate.

It sounds like you might have configured your Windows installation to use Ultra Fast boot correctly, but you left out at least one important detail.

When you say, "... no deal" about Fast Boot, what does that mean?

We need to know what is not working right with Fast Boot. What happens that is wrong?

If we know what fails about using Fast Boot, then we should be able tell what is wrong. What happens when you try to boot the PC?

PC boots up. But it goes to Asrock UEFI BIOS screen just like a regular boot screen, then it moves foward to Windows. After passing BIOS, it takes only 4 sec to load Windows, but it takes more than 20 on Asrock screen. I know, yet is a short time for booting but I feel sad  for see I can't enable a so easy and uefull feature.
