Hello,

I am the owner of an AsRock AD2700B-itx and a Zotac GT610 PCI card.
The issue is that when inserting the GT610 in the boards PCI slot the system doesn't boot. The fans are spinning but i get no video signal from the GT610 or the onboard VGA connector and i don't get any "beeps" from the connected speaker.
The motherboard works without the GT610 in place and the GT610 works in another system ( AsRock H97M PRO4 board).

My BIOS version is 1.2.

I have seen that for the AD2550B-ITX and AD2700-ITX boards there are BIOS updates that have fixed this issue but not for AD2700B-ITX.

I have sent a message to AsRoxk support via the webpage but haven't received any answer ( two weeks ago )

Does anyone have any verified solutions for this ?

Regards,

Andrei

I received BIOS 1.23 from support.
The card works now. Sadly the system crashes when running WEI.
I'm guessing that the video card pulls more than the 25W provided by the PCI port.

So it was actually a problem with the Nvidia driver.
I installed the one that was on the cd from the video card and now the system is stable.

If anyone ever needs the BIOS version feel free to write to me.

If anyone reading this at a later date would like the BIOS 1.23 for the AD2700B-itx, PM me and I'll link you to it via Google Drive.

Thanks tiandrei !

Hello again,

So driver version I used is 334.89 and it is the one on the CD that came with the GT610.
Some aditional info:
- this setup will play 720p from youtube ( after some buffering ) or VLC
- i couldn't play 1080p but i didn't do any tinkering some maybe it could work
- I did get decent speeds over network when copying large files ( the 2 videos I used to test 720p and 1080p )

Other components in my setup :
- SSD Kingston HyperX Fury 120 GB
- 1 TB HDD
- 500 GB HDD via USB 3.0
- Optical drive via USB
- Card reader via internal USB

All in a CM Elite 120 with a 400 W Sirtec PSU.
The GT610 has a Scythe 60mm fan on it powered from the PSU.

Temperatures in a 22-24 room are below 40C for CPU and GPU and below 30C for HDDs and SSD all in idle.

If I would choose again I would choose a more powerful CPU and GPU combo.

Hope this will help someone :)
