Hi guys,
Just wanted to report the bios version 2.1 and 2.0 is slightly broken. It wont execute the Secure Backup UEFI (A-B) correctly. http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Fatal1ty%20Z170%20Gaming%20K6+/index.us.asp?cat=Download&os=BIOS I had to downgrade to bios version 1.8 and it is now working as it should. Would this issue be addressed on the next bios release?? Thank you Edited by protos - 14 Mar 2016 at 9:23am |

Also the fantastic feature is broken, the UEFI hangs when I click on it.
But this happens even in 1.80 and 2.00 version. |

This is the first time we've heard of these problems with those UEFI/BIOS versions. The 2.00 UEFI has been available for over a month, but I guess no owners have used the UEFI backup feature.
You're also saying the FANtastic Tuning feature in the UEFI causes it to freeze? |

Yeah I have been busy testing other firmware stuff(mainly routers).
The Secure Backup UEFI could be better on bios version 1.8, but atleast I can get it to work from a complete power shutdown from the wall. It kinda struggles doing it on a normal reboot. But on bios version 2.0 and 2.1, it just doesn't want to do it at all. I never thought of providing feedback as I assumed there would of been others that would of done so. I guess I was wrong there. From now on I will provide a proper feedback on future bios releases. Thank you |

I just want to say my thanks to the Asrock Support & Development Team for fixing this issue on the latest bios firmware 2.6.
I am really impressed with the quick fix. Thank you guys. I will only buy Asrock Motherboards from now on. Thank you Edited by protos - 17 Apr 2016 at 11:31am |

Thanks to you as well, for bringing these obviously real issues to ASRock's attention, in a way that was not condescending and unnecessarily critical.
