Hey parsec, thanks for your response and investigation - much appreciated.
I agree. I don't believe it's the cooler, I can feel the heat pumping through the top pipe and the secondary pipe stays cool during high workloads - plus, idle temps are around 30-32c. Pump speeds and temperatures from Corsair Link: Idle (http://i.imgur.com/fchNtEP.png) vs 40% Load (http://i.imgur.com/edDKczv.png) - It's really cold here today so temps are lower than usual. Sadly I cannot remember the temperatures prior to upgrading to P3.00. When it hits 75%, this is when the fans kick into over-drive. The fans are powered and controlled by the Heat Pump itself. There are only three cables with this unit - one SATA for power, one that goes to the CPU header (which is how it tracks the CPU load temps) and finally, a connection to USB header so that Corsair Link can monitor and control the unit. Yes, these are the standard SP140L fans that came with the heatsink. Thanks again for your help!
