I will try to keep this as short as possible.
My lights in my rig never quite matched because the GPU is a Gigabyte and requires Fusion to control the RGB. I tried a few different things and then settled on Signal RGB as it seemed to control everything the way I wanted. Fast forward a few versions of Polychrome, and Signal RGB and Signal stopped working, Polychrome would not detect any hardware, and the lights would either be off or white. I eventually figured out that if I manually installed the Polychrome firmware from an older version it fixed my Lights, and I didn't try Signal or even mess with the RGB for a long time. Again today I decided to try and get things working like my other pc, Updated Polychrome, Fusion, Signal and found that Signal refused to control my Board lighting at all so I just gave up on this thing and tried to go back into Polychrome to set a color scheme I could stand and again, it would no longer find the hardware even through reboot cycles. I tried to reinstall Polychrome and the lights came on, went white and Polychrome still didn't see hardware. Went to reboot again, now all I get is CPU, DRAM lights and nothing else. Tried to reseat everything just for the heck of it and cleared the bios via battery pull. Nothing works board is bricked. Anyone know a way to fix this or can tell me which chip on this board controls the RGB so I can manually reflash it to proper firmware or disable it so it will work? |
