I attempted to perform a system restore last night to fix a problem that I created, and it would not succeed no matter what I tried. I don't quite understand why because I know that recently I was able to perform a system restore. I don't know if it has anything to do with my boot drive being a Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 512GB or not. However, every time I initiate a system restore the computer goes to my UEFI and does not finish the restore process.

Is there a fix for this?

If you performed a System Restore previously when using the 950 Pro as the OS drive, and it worked fine (as you said), why would you now think the 950 Pro is the problem?

System restores can fail sometimes, for reasons we don't understand. It could be a Windows problem, for example.

What version of Windows are you using? Did you install the Samsung NVMe driver?

I ran system file checker today, and it fixed something. I had no good reason for thinking that it was the 950 Pro to be perfectly honest. I'm running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. Also I did not install a driver for Samsung NVMe.
