Put together my B650E Taichi/9800X3D setup last night and so far so good, other than front audio. When I plug in my headphones into the front audio it recognizes the new device in the audio settings but nothing I do will get audio to actually play.

I've tried a driver reinstall, different headphones, and different audio quality settings. HD audio is plugged in on the motherboard. When I try the rear port and my old USB DAC everything works fine.

Strangely the Nahimic app doesn't work either. Despite downloading it from the ASRock support page for my M/B, when I launch it I get a notice "Nahimic can't run on your PC. We're sorry but we've detected your PC is not a compatible system with Nahimic".

What can I do?

Make sure you have the correct audio device/output selected when you plug in to
the front panel outputs. Click the speaker icon on your taskbar and click the
dropdown menu at the top, there should be multiple options listed, pick the one
that works with your headphones.

Yeah, that I was already aware of. It automatically switches to the new device that appears when I plug in my headphones.
