Sorry if this is not posted in the correct forum. I am not a tech guy! Please keep this in mind as I ask a dumb question. I bought a new computer about six months ago. It is an ASRock, Windows 10, etc etc. Anyhow, whenever I turn the computer on I get a Asrock dialogue box that never goes away. I cannot even force close it. It doesn't do any harm, but it is ugly on my desktop. The dialogue box is "Asrock Xfast USB: Now setting the hardware. Please wait a moment." But it never does anything and will not go away...ever. What exactly is this program? Should I uninstall it, or is it important? Or could I fix it somehow? Any tips or ideas are appreciated! |

I guess you installed everything on the disk supplied with the PC, without knowing what all of it was? That's Ok.
XFast USB makes one of the USB ports faster. Do you have a flash drive or external HDD connected to a USB port all the time? Regardless, just uninstall it, it is not at all essential. It is just an extra feature that is available from ASRock. |
