Hello everyone
I'am doing a custom case build. Now i've bought a button which can be illuminated to start the pc. Now it would be useful to use the led power connector from the mainboard as power supply. But the current the LED pulls varies with the voltage. It can take up to 12v but looks already good at 2.5V. Does somone know how many volts and amps i get there? If that's necessary i am using an asrock x79 extreme 3 Thank you for your Help but please only answer if u are sure because i don't want to destroy my mainboard Edited by kappi1997 - 02 Aug 2016 at 12:02am |

Dear Customer:
This is ASRock TSD. Please refer P.37 of user manual for the function of system panel header: http://asrock.pc.cdn.bitgravity.com/Manual/X79%20Extreme3.pdf The voltage provided by PLED+ is 3V, and there is a 330ohm resistance in the circuit. So the maximum current is about 9mA. For your information If you have any further question, please contact us. Thank you. Yours truly, ASRock TSD |
