1x 8g DDR4 on an Asrock B450M Steel Legend??

   Hello all

I'm trying to figure out whether or not I can use this particular single dimm of DDR4 https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233821&ignorebbr=1 on the Asrcok B450M Steel Legend with a Ryzen 5 2600 processor?

There's a lot I don't know about this stuff, but I gather that 2x dimms give a performance boost. However, I'm more concerned with affordability right now than optimal performance. I plan to slowly upgrade to higher quality components over time, but need a viable build now within my budget. 

So my questions are:

- Is this viable? Will the single stick of ram I linked to work?

- Does this board even support 8gigs of ram at all? In the compatibility list, there doesn't appear to be a single configuration that leads to merely 8 gigs of ram.

	My B450M Pro4 is currently running a single stick of 8gb ram without problem. I run it in slot A2 but I've tried it in A1 also without problem. I'm running 2400 G.Skill Fortis so I can't comment on your NewEgg pick.
