Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming K4 & M.2 870 EVO SSD

   Hi All.

For a birthday present I purchased a 1TB M.2 Samsung 870 EVO SSD for my son's PC which runs a Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming K4 MB.  The system won't recognise the SSD.  I've updated the BIOS but still no luck.

Looking at the ASrock compatibility list I see that all the Samsung M.2 SSDs are PCIe whereas the 870 EVO is SATA3.

Is this the issue and why it seems incompatible?

	Sorry for the typo. Its an EVO 860. Working now. I unplugged all the other drives and rebooted. BIOS found the M.2. I then added each of the other drives one at a time and all is good.
