asrock z390 steel legend hdmi problem

   ive got the asrock steel legend mobo and a intel core i-5 , 9400 cpu. im using a six year old flat screen that works perfect with my other pc but most the time i have to turn the pc on and off twice to get hdmi to work. Last night it wouldnt work at all but i unplugged and plugged it back in and it worked. ill shut it off for an hour , turn it back on and see if it fires right up.First board had to be rma cause of no internet connection . asrock, help me out with a fix or patch. I could go remote if someone cares to have a look.
