Actually, Windows 7 works fine with both usb2 and usb3. I'm using it now. It's just on boot-up withe the new Mother board that I'm having any issues. I had all the same devices on my old motherboard and it worked just fine.

You may be right about installing it in the beginning but, it was already installed on my drive. I AM going to look into Win 10 though to see if it can be set up to look and work like I'm used to.

win 10 is an easy system to migrate to
(and trust me i hate change ! ) also to note the win7 coa will work for win 10 as long as its the same version eg 32/64 bit and the same level eg win7 pro allows win 10 pro then use the create media website from windows to make the bootable usb stick for installation |
