Windows 10, ASRock X870E Taichi.
New MB, new installation of Windows 10 x64. Updated all drivers, etc from the ASRock downloads page. PC was running perfectly for about 2 weeks, and tonight the network adapter has suddenly lost its connection. I have a wired home network. But, from this PC only, the icon in the system tray reports no connection available. - The network adapter is recognised in Device Manager. Uninstalling & restarting the PC does not solve the problem. - I've swapped the network cable with 2 known working cables. Cable is good. - Used my wife's network outlet (which works for her PC) - still no connection. - uninstalling & reinstalling the network device drivers did not solve the problem. - System Restore to a point a week ago did not solve the problem. - Reset both the switch and the internet router. Did not solve the problem. - BIOS settings indicate the network card is enabled and should function. What else can I do? How can I solve this issue? Philip Bannor |
