Hello! I've got a bit of a weird issue and I can't find anyone else with the same issue online so I thought I'd make my own post.

I can't get into the BIOS on my motherboard. If I press F2 or Delete on the ASRock boot screen then it will just stay on that screen forever. I have to power off and on the computer again if I want it to do anything. It still boots into Windows just fine if I don't press anything though. Other than not being able to get into my BIOS, my computer seems to run perfectly fine day to day. I've been using it daily for almost 5 years now and I've never been able to get into my BIOS on it so far as I can remember.

I've tried making a desktop shortcut to go straight to the BIOS as well as holding shift when pressing restart to go into the advanced options and get into BIOS that way, but both times it just hangs on the ASRock boot screen forever, just as if I had pressed F2 or Delete.

I would update my BIOS to see if that helps, but the instructions to update my BIOS on the ASRock website say I have to do it in my BIOS, so I guess I can't do that until I solve this issue.

Anyone got any ideas? I'm happy to test anything you'd like and share anything about my hardware that you could find useful. Thank you for your time and have a nice day!

Hey, quick update that might help people in the future! Thanks to some helpful people on Twitter we figured out the solution pretty fast

I just had to unplug every USB device I had other than my keyboard and mouse. I'm not sure what one of my many USB devices was keeping me from getting into my BIOS but I suspect it's one of my USB hubs. I've had weird issues in the past with one of them

I absolutely never would have guessed that was the solution. If someone in the future is having this issue, I hope they stumble across this!
