I am trying to start my x670E Steel Legend for the first time, cpu, 2 sticks of memory (in B2 and A2 position), gpu and power supply. The problem is that the Post status checker for CPU is glowing as soon as I boot on the PC. I don't get any video feedback either from onboard or pcie video card. Any ideas? I tried 2x4 pin and 2 8pin pin cpu connectors. I already tried to reset CMOS and it didn?™t help. Also tried switching the 2x4 pins from ATX12V1 to ATX12V2.
CPU: Ryzen 7 9700x Motherboard: X670E Steel Legend Ram: Corsair RAM 64GB Kit (2x32GB) DDR5 6200MHz OS: None yet installed |

Have you tried to remove the 2 memory sticks and plug them again?
I had a similar issue (no video at all) and the CPU and RAM diagnostic LEDs on the motherboard (also a X670E Steel Legend) were permanently on, indicating an error. I have waited several minutes to see if it was due to the memory training, but noting has changed. Then, I have also, like you, tried to reset the CMOS, but it did not work. Finally, I removed and reinserted both RAM sticks, which made the trick: no more diagnostic LEDs on, got video and the post screen. |
