Does this CMOS battery charge function exist? Do other mainboard producers offer this too?

It was cool to see the workers who are responsible for most of my mainboards

The whole world relies on you guys! Also on Asus, Acer, msi, Gigabyte, Biostar, ...

That?s awesome to see the behind-the-scenes work! I haven?t seen CMOS batteries that charge themselves, but it?d be great if more manufacturers offered that feature. It would save a lot of hassle.

there is one significant argument against rechargeable CMOS-battery: the battery life outlasts the usefulness of the system. it could be oecologial (good for the environment) and maybe also oeconomical (saving a tiny amount of money) but in the end, you have to buy a new mainboard at least in 10 years, if you want to work with up to date software.

CMOS battery charging isn?t a common feature, but some high-end motherboards and industrial boards support it to extend battery life. Most mainstream brands like Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, and Acer typically rely on replaceable CR2032 batteries. It?s interesting to see new innovations in motherboard design, and maybe more brands will adopt this in the future. Also, cool to see the behind-the-scenes work that keeps our systems running. By the way, I?m testing     Plus 2025, and it?s working great?lots of customization options. You can check it out at.
