Here is my build
AMD Ryzen 9 7950X - Zen 4 16-Core 4.5 GHz - Socket AM5 - 170W Desktop Processor (100-100000514WOF) G.SKILL Flare X5 Series (AMD Expo) DDR5 RAM 64GB (2x32GB) 5200MT/s CL36-36-36-83 1.25V Desktop Computer Memory UDIMM - Matte Black (F5-5200J3636D32GX2-FX5) TEAMGROUP SSD Team Cardea Z540 M.2 1TB PCIe G5x4 2280 GIGABYTE WINDFORCE OC GeForce RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 x16 ATX Graphics Card GV-N3060WF2OC-12GD REV2.0 ANTEC GSK850 ATX3.1, 850W Full Modular PSU, 80 Plus Gold Certified, PCIE 5.1 Support, PhaseWave Design, Japanese Caps, Zero RPM Manager, 120mm Silent Fan I'm not a gamer but I do render videos and photos, what I'm looking for is to allow the CPU to idle and then boost when needed. I'm not sure how to set it up in the BIOS in a couple of areas, especially the CPU for what I'm looking for and RAM. Not sure if I should make the RAM all AUTO but I did read in the PDF of the BIOS DRAM Frequency If [Auto] is selected, the motherboard will detect the memory module(s) inserted and assign the appropriate frequency automatically. Will this AUTO setting of the RAM overclock the RAM if needed or keep it at the detected frequency? There is a setting for SHA256 PCR Bank and SHA384 PCR Bank, should I enable both or one of the two and which one of the two? The most I can find is to enable SHA256 PCR Bank and nothing about enabling both. |
