Motherboard: PG 650E Riptide Wifi with Bios version 1.28
CPU: 7800x3d RAM: G.SKILL Flare X5 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5 @ 6000 GPU: NVIDIA 4080 Tried upgrading my BIOS to version 2.01 and 3.01, but both times had issues with the system recognizing my GPU on first boot. Initially thought the BIOS update didn't take until I plugged one monitor into my motherboard and a second into the GPU. When powering up from off, the display connected to the motherboard would turn on. BIOS did not see an external GPU. Computer could go into windows but GPU was still not seen. A restart at this point would then allow the GPU to be detected and the second monitor would then display and BIOS would see GPU. Shutting down the computer would then cause this cycle to repeat. Thoughts? |
