X570 Taichi won't recognise or boot from SSD

   Hi,

I have an X570 Taichi with an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X. It's been running brilliantly for years.A few days ago I let it do a windows update (I didn't check what it was) and shutdown and since then it's not been able to start with a "Windows operating system not found" error message.

I have two SSDs in the PC a 1 TB M.2 and a 1 TB SSD. The 1 TB SSD is the boot drive. Also have a 6TB HDD and a DVD drive.

All drives can be seen by the BIOS however not by the Boot Loader.

So both SSD's are unavailable to boot from or load a fresh install of windows onto.

It seems to me that because it's both the SSD's it's more likely to be a software issue within the BIOS or MBR rather than a hardware fault as it's unlikely both SSD's died at the same time and also they are both still visible in the BIOS.

The PC hasn't been moved but even so I've checked all the plugs and everything else is securely in place. 

Appreciate any advice.

	It looks like your ASRock X570 Taichi is having trouble recognizing your SSDs after a recent Windows update. Since the BIOS detects both SSDs but the boot loader does not, this is likely a software-related issue rather than a hardware failure. First, try repairing the boot configuration using a Windows installation USB. Boot into the recovery environment, open the command prompt, and run bootrec /fixmbr, bootrec /fixboot, bootrec /scanos, and bootrec /rebuildbcd. If that doesn?�t work, check your BIOS settings to ensure the boot mode is set to UEFI, the correct drive is selected as the primary boot device, and Secure Boot is disabled temporarily. You can also try updating or rolling back the BIOS firmware, as newer updates sometimes cause compatibility issues. Another step is to disconnect all drives except the boot SSD to see if that helps. If none of these work, a clean Windows installation might be necessary. Before proceeding,
