built a computer for my Nephews Stepson using the X650E with a Ryzen 7 CPU. Its been working for a couple of years with 0 issues. He recently contacted me with an issue with the sound built onto the Motherboard. Its the ASRock X650E Lightning. I've had him Re-install the sound driver and check BIOS to see if sound is enabled. Also I recommended that he update BIOS, I dont know if thats been done. He has no or very hard to hear sound at the moment. So No USB Sound Card, Built in Mother board sound using realtek drivers.

I know there has been issues with USB sound cards but his is the onboard sound on the Lightning.

I also Know he was on the phone with MS support for a long time and they rolled back the update but the sound is gone.

Anyone else seen this or have ideas?
