970A-G/3.1 wont boot to windows. what is Dr Debug?

   last night my PC shut down suddenly and wouldnt boot back into windows, I tried resetting but it gets to about %30 and fails. I swapped HDD with another old one I had laying around and same problem, with a different version of windows. I have been trying to figure out how to view POST for errors, but apparently asrock doesnt have a POST but instead Dr Debug... try as I may, I cannot figure out how to get the Dr Debug error codes. can anyone help me out?
