I own a z790 Taichi Lite, The USB based built-in audio is subpar and no matter what settings I put in the Unified Extensible Firmware Interface, as soon as windows 11 starts, it detects the onboard audio.
This is one of 2 things I really dislike about this motherboard: 1.- There are not any many tutorials on the web, seems people only publish for other brands. 2.- There are not enough 3.5mm jack connections for a 7.1 speaker system in the rear in/out connectors, I have to use the front panel connectors and set outputs via software (realtek) control. I have installed a Creative Peripheral Component Interconnect Express sound card that does the job the way it is supposed to, but I really dislike having 2 sound cards recognized by the device/hardware manager even though I have the onboard sound card disabled. I would really appreciate any help you can provide, I also would like the community know that english is not my first or second language so please try not use abbreviations or acronyms since they can mean a thousand things. Again, thank you for all of your help. Best regards, Giloz Lodiaz. |
